Rumer Willis gets a tattoo in honor of her daughter Louetta
Actress Rumer Willis, the eldest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, celebrated the birth of her daughter Louetta with a new tattoo. Rumer shared a photo of the fresh ink on her Instagram, dedicating the tattoo to her daughter, who was born in April 2023.
According to Page Six, Rumer got the tattoo at Uplift Tattoo in New York City, with the work done by tattoo artist Jakki Chan (Jacquelyn Maroney), who has previously tattooed other celebrities, including T.J. Holmes. Rumer chose to commemorate her daughter’s birth with the numbers “4-18” on her wrist, though the year of birth—2023—was not included.
It’s noted that Rumer and her boyfriend, Derek Richard Thomas, split one year after their daughter’s birth.
In addition to the tattoo of Louetta’s birth date, Rumer added another design to her collection. Alongside her friend, jewelry designer Mia Moross, she got a small seashell tattoo. Rumer placed the seashell near her daughter’s birth date on her wrist, while Moross chose the inner side of her bicep. In her post, Moross wrote, “All my mermaid dreams came true thanks to @jakkichantattoos.”
During her visit to the tattoo parlor, Rumer was spotted wearing a blue tank top with a long blue-and-white striped skirt, paired with New Balance sneakers and minimal makeup. According to reports, Rumer has over 20 tattoos, including several colorful stars and symbols on her wrist.
