A Post-Divorce Tattoo: Fearne Cotton Gets a Souvenir from a Pop Star

Divorce is never easy, but British TV presenter Fearne Cotton decided to handle it with creativity. Instead of the usual “new haircut, new life”, she opted for a new tattoo—inked not by a tattoo artist, but by a pop star!

When the Tattoo Artist Is Actually a Singer

The 43-year-old Fearne recently attended a Teddy Swims concert at Wembley Arena. But instead of the usual backstage selfie, she walked away with a fresh tattoo.

In her Instagram post, the TV host excitedly announced:

“This is so cool, guys! I’m getting a tattoo!”

The 32-year-old Teddy, wearing sterile gloves, confidently picked up the tattoo machine and inked a bear’s face on Fearne’s wrist. Now, she has a permanent reminder not just of the concert but also of the new chapter in her life.

From Tattoos to Personal Life

Speaking of life changes, Fearne is definitely going through one. In December 2023, she announced her divorce from Jesse Wood—the son of The Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood. Their 10-year marriage had come to an end, and Fearne wasted no time moving forward.

Just 10 days after the split, she started dating 53-year-old producer Elliot Hegarty. Soon after, they were spotted in central London, kissing and holding hands.

And Her Ex Is in Shock…

Of course, not everyone is celebrating. Elliot’s ex-wife, Laura, was reportedly “devastated and shocked” by the news.

As for Jesse Wood, Fearne’s new romance turned out to be a bitter pill to swallow:

“He knew she had moved on, but seeing them in love so openly is a whole different thing.”

After the breakup, Jesse moved out of their shared home in West London, while Fearne stayed there with their children. According to sources, Jesse’s close ones were deeply upset by how quickly she moved on.

“They can’t understand why she’s flaunting her new relationship so publicly. To them, it seems… harsh.”

A Tattoo as a Symbol of a New Life?

Does the bear tattoo represent a fresh start for Fearne? Or is it just a spontaneous souvenir? Maybe the TV host will reveal its true meaning soon.

For now, one thing’s for sure: if you’re getting a post-divorce tattoo, it might as well be inked by a pop star—with a good dose of irony!
